Technology typically doubles in sophistication every two years. If it starts as .10 cents, it would double to .20 cents, then .40. That doesn’t seem like much, but in four decades, it will be worth around 100k. Technology is evolving faster than humans, so where does that leave us?

– Ben Tasker, AI Project Manager, EAI

Ben Tasker is an AI Project Manager for the AI Solutions Hub at the Institute for Experiential AI (EAI). He also teaches AI as an adjunct professor at the Khoury College of Computer Science and at the College of Professional Studies. Ben earned a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics and holds many other certifications including a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt. He is a certified Amazon Educator with both a scrum master (CSM) and product owner (CSPO) certification. A Certified Agile Practitioner(CAP), he also recently earned a Data+ certification from CompTIA.

Previously, Ben was a technical product owner and built the world’s largest Data Science and Analytics program for an online university, providing experiential learning opportunities to companies like Amazon and Wayfair. He enjoys solving complex data science problems with innovative solutions for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies alike.

In other roles, Ben was the manager of analytics and data warehousing for the Community College System of New Hampshire, where he managed 12 data scientists and helped develop an algorithm that flagged students with the highest risk of failure. The flagging system allowed colleges to deploy resources to individual at-risk students, ultimately helping them graduate.

Tasker is a CrossFit Athlete and has competed in global competitions, where he is currently ranked in the top 15% of all other athletes and hopes to continue to move up the ladder. He can be found at his local CrossFit Gym doing box jumps, hang power cleans, and kettlebell swings.
