8th Annual International Conference on Systems Biology of Human Disease: SBHD 2026
The 18th Annual International Conference on Systems Biology of Human Disease, SBHD 2026, will bring together leading national and international scientists, trainees, and industry innovators to explore how artificial intelligence and systems biology are advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of human disease.
Hosted in Boston by Northeastern University’s Institute for Experiential AI, this year’s conference will focus on AI-enabled approaches across cancer, infectious disease, metabolic disease, lung disease, mental health, aging, and other areas of human health. The program will also highlight applied AI innovation across biotech, healthtech, medtech, and pharmaceuticals, with sessions featuring speakers from leading companies and research institutions.
In addition to invited talks, SBHD 2026 will include short talks selected from submitted abstracts, an extended poster session, networking opportunities, and the Anne Heidenthal Prize for Fluorescence Research, sponsored by Chroma Technology Corp. Attendees are also invited to join the traditional opening conference dinner at Northeastern University’s ISEC Atrium.
SBHD 2026 is designed for researchers, clinicians, trainees, and industry professionals interested in the future of AI, systems biology, and human disease research. Registration and abstract submission are now open.
