Summary:

As part of our EAI Membership Team, the Program Manager will be responsible for helping to build and execute on the roadmap implementing and managing the Institute’s multi-level membership offering. This will include the coordination in creating membership benefits products and services, involving internal and external stakeholders, contributors and teams.
The successful candidate will effectively collaborate with academia and insure to advance our Membership Program form its initial offering to a sophisticated and comprehensive multi-tiered Membership Program offered to industry partners.
The program manager supports the management and operationalization of new programs, thinking through the broad array of services required to provide an optimal learner experience. A key element of operationalizing new programs is to track and document for potential improvement and scalability.
The program manager works cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to align the vision and launch plan for new programs, propose operational plans, and implement those plans in partnership with campus, college, university, and external stakeholders. Highly skilled in the implementation of project plans, they ensure successful, scalable and sustainable implementation of new programs that contribute to campus achievements.
Pending on the candidate’s capabilities and demonstrated exceptional performance in this role, this opportunity can lead to advance to the Director of Membership Programs.

Excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to build internal and external collaborations, finding solutions benefit all stakeholders.
Excellent client service abilities and proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders in industry.
High degree of initiative and drive with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
Demonstrated strong business writing, internet research and project management/report writing skills.
Collaborate with our content team, to create, curate and publish content to our membership.
Establish alliances across Northeastern University to establish potential opportunities for collaborations with other groups for the EAI Membership Program.
Interface with industry partners in presenting our Membership Program and onboarding new members to the program.
Take an active role in building and maintaining a community for our members (i.e. communications, hosting of webinars, talks and events).
Design, manage and participate in events hosted for the EAI Membership community.
Qualifications:
5+ years working in a high-touch client facing capacity including a strive for operational excellence, communications and collaborating across many internal and external teams.
Experience in entrepreneurial environments within or as a partner to a larger organization (startups, corporate innovation, and/or higher education institutions)
Experience as a product, program, and/or project manager working on launching new initiatives, large scale programs or products
Ability to juggle many projects simultaneously and comfortable in predicting and escalating problems.
Degree in communications, social sciences or related field preferred but not mandatory. Experience in the fields of technology and innovation is a plus.
Experience in higher education is helpful, but not necessary.
