Kwong Chan

Kwong Chan is an academic specialist in marketing at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and serves as the executive director of the Digital, Analytics, Technology and Automation Initiative at Northeastern University. His focus areas include machine learning, innovation, and analytics.
Before joining Northeastern University, Kwong was an associate director in the Telecommunication and Technology Industry Practice Group at Nielsen and a marketing professor at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
An award-winning teacher for his innovative methods, Kwong has helped pioneer the development of analytics education at D’Amore-McKim. He has published in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Sports Management, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, and the Journal of Advertising.
Kwong has worked with companies including Samsung, Goodyear, VISA, Nike, ASUS, ACER, and General Motors. He holds a doctorate from Michigan State University.
