Project Manager

Esenia Mavlikhanova is a Project Manager with over 7+ years of international experience across technology, AI-enabled systems, strategic management, and innovation-driven environments. Her professional background spans large-scale industrial organisations and early-stage tech startups, with a strong emphasis on technology-driven business transformation, AI-integrated platforms, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

Prior to joining Northeastern University, Esenia worked with KEBA Group AG (Vienna, Austria), a global technology and industrial automation company, and later transitioned into the startup ecosystem through roles supporting strategic and AI-adjacent project initiatives at Web3 Cycle Agency (Dubai, UAE) and Octrace (California, USA). Across these environments, she has contributed to project execution, stakeholder coordination, and the alignment of strategic and operational priorities in fast-moving, innovation-focused contexts.

At the AI Solutions Hub, she works on industry-facing AI initiatives, including the development and delivery of AI-enabled systems, where she supports governance, stakeholder alignment, backlog structuring, and cross-team execution within regulated enterprise environments.

Esenia holds an MS in Strategic Digital Management from Johannes Kepler University in Austria. And she is currently completing a STEM-designated Master’s degree in Tech Project Management at Northeastern University, with a focus on AI systems, infrastructure, and enterprise delivery models. She also earned two Bachelor’s degrees: a BA in Modern Languages & Business Studies from the University of Latvia and a BA in Business Psychology from the University of Valencia.

Fluent in English, German, Spanish, and Russian, Esenia brings a strong multicultural perspective shaped by living and working across six countries. Her interests in AI-enabled platforms, data governance, organisational systems, and global collaboration models continuously inform her approach to project leadership and technology-driven innovation.
