Ghanahshyam Kshirsagar
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Ghanashyam Kshirsagar is an a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Experiential AI and Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. Kshirsagar earned both his bachelor’s in Instrumentation and Control from the University of Pune and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in Brain-Computer Interface from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, India. He is affiliated with the Civic A.I. Lab and HDI group at the Roux Institute, Northeastern University, Portland.
Kshirsagar has gained more than seven years of research and teaching experience in Neurophysiological signals and applied AI. His major research contributions are in brain-computer interface-based BCI communications and compacting deep models.
Kshirsagar holds the Young Scientist Award. He is currently a member of IEEE, IEEE Young Professionals, IEEE Brain, IEEE Neuroengineering, ACM, and the International Association of Engineering.Outside of research, he enjoys exploring nature.
