Sabelo Mhlambi is the CEO and founder of Bhala AI and a technologist in residence at Harvard Law School. He works at the intersection of ethics, technology, and human rights, with a focus on non-western ethics, racialized and global south communities, and decolonial AI. His focus areas include deep learning, ethics and AI, natural language processing, non-western ethics, decolonizing AI, and ubuntu.Sabelo is a Berkman-Klein Center affiliate and a fellow at Stanford’s Digital Civil Society Lab. He is also part of the UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab.
