Thulasi Tholeti
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Thulasi Tholeti is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Experiential AI and a member of the Responsible AI team. Her current research focuses on addressing and mitigating issues concerning privacy, bias, and fairness. She enjoys providing theoretical insights and explanations regarding observed machine learning phenomena. Her other research interests include adversarial robustness, optimization, and ensemble methods.
Based in Boston, Tholeti holds a doctorate in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. During her graduate studies, she worked on utilizing Lipschitz constants to enhance the performance of neural networks in the context of hyperparameter tuning and adversarial robustness. As part of her research assistantship, she has mentored multiple graduate students in their own research.
